LIKE OUR BIKES, WE ARE SILENT ABOUT OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

2009

FIRST EVER

INDIAN TEAM TO STAND TALL ON THE PODIUM

Back bent, head upright and steely eyes, he stood on the start line – this is how it all began. As he devoured the kilometers and the podium came up in plain sight the heartbeat made up for the silent motorcycle. By the time he screeched to a halt, the place on the podium had been secured. He and it both stood tall. Both, the rider and the ride became etched in the annals of history as the first ever to win – the first ever race.

The year was 2009, the event – the world’s first ever emotorcycle GrandPix TTXGP. The venue being the world’s toughest racing track at the Isle of Man, UK. Our participation was in the form of two teams, Agni Racing and Tork India. The Agni racing team stood first in the pro class and the Tork India team came third in the open class. We represented all of Asia in this world championship. Krunal Nanavati spearheaded Tork India, a team that was considered as a rank outsider and an underdog to the podium of glory. Agni Racing was led by Arvind Rabbadia as the team owner and Cedric Lynch as the go-to man for technicalities. Arvind Rabbadia sponsored many teams and most of the teams used the motor trains provided by Arvind Rabbadia’s company Agni Motors.

2010

WHAT A FEAT!

THE WORLD AT ITS FEET

Team Agni Racing headed by Arvind Rabadia participated at the Isle of Man in the TTZero and emerged on spot second and fourth.

Agni Racing and Tork India participated with two and one motorcycles respectively at the UK championship TTXGP. The participation was in four racing circuits and all the top three positions were captured by Agni Racing and Tork India.

Agni Racing stood second in the USA Championship TTXGP across the four racing circuits where it participated with only one motorcycle.

Participated in the TTXGP World Championship Final with three motorcycles out of which two were from Agni Racing and one from Tork India. Out of the two Agni Racing motorcycles one secured the third position.

2011

2X2 = 4

THE FIRST HEV FROM THE STABLE IS HERE

Come 2011 and Agni Motors joined hands with I-Vision group of industries and successfully converted an ICE four wheeler car into a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV)

Cedric Lynch (then the CTO of Agni Motors) oversaw the project along with Krunal Nanavati who held the mantel as the project manager at Agni Motors.

This converted car achieved a distance of 400 KMs with a top speed of 95 Kms/Hr with a single charge combined with a parallel hybrid system. One driver and four passengers were seated in the car while reaching this milestone. This HEV covered hilly terrains with a maximum 40 degree incline and decline during the trip. It was a pure play electric vehicle, however, due to lack of charging infrastructure we had to also accommodate a generator to charge the batteries after it reached a maximum discharge level.

2012

A PARADIGM SHIFT

A FIRM STEP FOR THE FARMERS

2012 was no less exciting and found Cedric Lynch along with Krunal Nanavati foraying into the development of solar powered surface water pumps with DC Motors. The system clocked an overall efficiency of 62% in the backdrop of generally accepted efficiency levels of 19-21% only.

Provided a paradigm shifted by introducing the solar water pumps that allowed low cost, low maintenance, higher efficiency and optimal flow rate when compared with traditional pump systems being used until then. The solar pump also enabled functioning in poor light conditions without any battery backup.

2013

ECOPLANET

THE SEED WAS GERMINATED

Krunal Nanavati set out as the mad maverick who believed in his higher calling and levelled up by venturing into ECO PLANET formed as a proprietary organization.

ECO PLANET was soon to become a much sought-after engineering unit in Gujarat. A sophisticated unit, it came to be known for it’s precision in developing engineering components and executing OEM contracts.

ECO PLANET started gaining prominence in rendering technical consultancy and for additionally being able to supply components for all types of high-performance electric vehicle projects. ECO PLANET has supplied EV kits to all Universities which participated in formula student car racing.

2014

IF DESIGNING IS AN ART

HERE WAS THE FIRST PIECE OF CRAFT

Agni Motors was associated with the UK based Agility Racing and they came together to form a new venture they decided to name as Saiettea Engineering Private Ltd.

As the first project, Saietta developed a unique and ergonomically designed motorcycle that was a true showstopper.

Add to that a top speed of 150 kmph and a single charge range of 250km range with an average speed of 70kmph – the stage was set for bigger things to follow

2015

CRAFT 4WD

A RUTHLESS ALL TERRAIN CHARIOT

The electric ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) is now for real with the conversion of a petrol-based ICE 500cc ATV into an all electric ATV.

Vinayak Buchade accepted a project for the conversion of an ICE ATV into an Electric ATV. Krunal Nanavati took over the complete execution and in time the ATV went electric.

The eATV combined a torque of 40NM while petrol-based ICE ATV had a torque of 22NM. The eATV climbed a rugged incline of 45 degrees using just the two-wheel drive system as there was no need to changeover to the 4WD since the engine didn’t choke and ask for a shift.

CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) was specially made for the eATV for consuming less power and getting maximum output from the motors.

2016

SWISS

SURGICAL PRECISION IN TECHNOLOGY

Vinayak Buchade and Arvind Rabadia jointly conceptualized, designed and made a low-cost peak-performing Electric Brushless DC (BLDC) motor. This successful prototype was drafted into a new corporation formed for the expanded project. The company was called SVAS Motors.

The adoption of the technology was inspired by the work and research of a Swiss Scientist Hans Sommerauer. The BLDC motor boasts the latest technology in the electrical industry internationally.

SVAS Motors developed a motor with power of 6KW and efficiency of 96%-98%. This is considered as the possible optimal efficiency.

2018

INTRODUCING THE

FUTURE

Krunal Nanavati was egged on by his passion to build the best and then tweak it to even better. Being hopelessly in love with motorcycles, he was fired up by passion to build a true Premium High-Performance Electric Motorcycle. The Research and Development started in Q3 of 2018.In under six months, when the engine purred up to life, it resonated in the heartbeat of Krunal. The eMotorcycle delivered the following actual results.

Top speed 170kmph
0 to 97 kmph in 3.2 seconds
Peak Torque 130NM
Range 250km per charge
Weight 180Kg

2019
